CGR Credit Union Appoints Clint Harper as New CEO
Mon. 31 January 2022, Issue 2

Central Georgia Regional Credit Union introduces former Board Chairman as CEO.

CGR Credit Union welcomed aboard Clint Harper, MPA, FACHE, as the new President and CEO of the credit union today. An experienced not-for-profit business leader, Harper will succeed Jerry Jordan. Jordan will be retiring after 15 years as President and CEO of CGR Credit Union rounding out 50 years of service in six different credit unions throughout Georgia and Alabama.

Clint Harper is a proven administrative and executive leader with 30 plus years of diverse experience in not-for-profit finance and leadership. Harper has been an active volunteer official of CGR Credit Union for the last 20 years including serving on the Board of Directors, Supervisory Committee and ALCO Committee. “He’s most qualified in my view as he knows our organization, our members, the healthcare industry, and what it means to serve,” said retiring 15-year CEO Jerry Jordan. “He is not only well versed in the credit union traditions, but he is also coming to us from Atrium Health Navicent, our primary sponsor and the largest not-for-profit in central Georgia.”

While at Atrium Health Navicent, Harper successfully led a wide variety of projects. In his most recent role, he was privileged to work with the Atrium Health Navicent Medical Group and provide leadership through an era of expansive growth doubling the size of the medical group. His strategic leadership and focus on business development will serve CGR well into the future.

“We are very fortunate to have Clint Harper transition into the role of CEO of our Credit Union,” said Board Chairman Donald Smith. “We are excited about working with him to continue to grow our footprint in Central Georgia. His vision and professional experience will place us in a great position to be one of the leading financial institutions in our region.”

Harper has a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Georgia College & State University
